Production Management Intensive Recap

In June, Tinc and Propared co-hosted a week-long production management intensive; a course designed for managers transitioning from the academic setting into the professional world. Stanley Cup at Madison Square Gardens

Tinc has been all over 31-33rd streets since the New York Rangers made it to the Stanley Cup finals.

In partnership with Barbizon Lighting, Arc3 Design and 4Wall Entertainment, Tinc ‘s Crew: Production Electrician – Sarah Arnold, Assistant Production Electricians – Adrian Kozlow, Mark Krasnov, Val Migoulia and Electricians – Tim Bornt and Nathan McKinney made sure that throughout the torrential NY rainstorms Madison Square Gardens shows their NY Ranger’s pride throughout the finals.

Behind the Scenes: David Blaine, One Million Volts, Always On

It’s been one year since David Blaine stood between 8 Tesla coils for 3 days and 3 nights..

Check out this behind the scenes documentary on the planning, testing, trials and real life realities of putting on a dangerous stunt of this scale. Tinc, as Technical Producer was there every step of the way moving this project forward. Barge Cranes and dropping temperatures and all.

Tinc on-site at Y-3

Tinc spent 444 crew hours on-site at Y-3’s fashion show setting up the lighting and rigging for their 10th Anniversary Collection. Conceptually it was laid out like a simple runway show, but there were many more dimensions to this show exemplified by SenovvA and their complex projection mapping on the surrounding geometric walls.  Tinc provided the lighting and rigging crews to make this show happen. Tinc Celebrates NYMF Opening Night

The Tinc staff has been working behind the scenes for months now on the 2012 New York Musical Theater Festival and today it all finally began to come to fruition.  The official opening of the festival began with musicals loading in and performing at the PTC Performance Space, The Theater at St. Clements, 45th Street Theatre (Main-stage and Upstairs) and the Pershing Square Signature Center.

Tinc brings light to an old boiler room for the DreamYard Project

Tinc, in partnership with Barbizon Lighting Company installed a rep lighting system in a new performance space for the DreamYard Project in their Bronx location.  The theater space was once an old boiler room and was being re-purposed for the use of the DreamYard Preparatory School.
